• bmibaby passengers now have 3 options by which they can change their booking

Online

• Simply click the "manage your bookings" link on the top navigation and follow the step by step process. The cost to change a booking is £35 (€40) per person per flight, plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made.

There is no limit to the number of date changes that can be made to a FlyExtra flight. All changes are subject to availability. The standard flight change fees are waivered for FlyExtra customers, however, any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time of the change will be payable.

Name changes can not be made online.

Over the phone

• Alternatively, changes can be made to flights by contacting the call centre on 0905 8282828 (Calls cost 65p per minute from a BT Landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks will be considerably more), the cost to change a booking is £50.00 (€63.00) per person, per sector charge for this service plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Please make sure you have your six digit booking reference and original method of payment to hand for confirmation. Name changes to flights for any reason including when a name in the flight booking does not match the passengers photo ID can be made via the call centre.  Please note that initials are not acceptable.  Name changes are subject to an administration fee of £40 (€50) per person per flight plus any difference in fare.

• If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Changes to be advised via the call centre a minimum two (2) hours prior to departure and during bmibaby reservations opening hours (seven days a week, 8am to 9pm). Please note name changes cannot be made after a flight has departed.

If you do not use your Ticket, you will be entitled to claim a refund of Air Passenger Duty, less an administration fee of £25 per passenger. Please note name changes cannot be made after a flight has departed.

At the airport

• Changes can be made to flights at the airport, the cost to change a booking is £50 (€63) per person per flight plus an applicable fare difference. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Please make sure you have your six digit booking reference and original method of payment to hand for confirmation.

For name changes requested at the departure gate a charge of £100 (€100) will apply.  Name changes cannot be made to the return sector of any flight.

 

FlyExtra passengers are entitled to make unlimited flight changes at no extra charge. There could be an additional charge in the difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made.

Name changes for FlyExtra passengers are charged at the standard rate plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Subject to availability.

 

Passenger can not change any details about their flight once they have checked in online.
