All about...

Lisbon

It’s Lisbon’s cultural, geographical and historical position as gateway to Africa and Brazil that makes a visit to this cosmopolitan melting pot such a rich and rewarding experience. White baroque churches, pale pink and yellow palaces and quaint red-tile roofed houses perched on the banks of the River Tagus, shimmering in an almost all-year-round sun beneath cobalt skies mark a stunning contrast with this modern and vibrant city with space-age architecture, glamorous nightclubs, trendy restaurants and cutting edge shopping malls. This racy and bustling port city offers a touch of faded European imperial elegance with Moorish overtones.
